Cranberry Sauce

Making cranberry sauce from scratch is pretty easy to do, and tastes a lot better than the cans.  This recipe is based on Robert Irvine's - which he cooked for us and put over some salmon. So it is for more than just turkey or chicken


3 cups of cranberries

1 cup sugar

1 cup water

1 bunch of green onions


Boil water in  a sauce pan.

Add the cranberries and wait for them to pop.

Add one cup of sugar and cover.

Cut one bunch of green onions

Place the onions into the sauce and allow to simmer.

Add salt to taste
